I was asked to develop a design system and look-n-feel for the products user interface and how the styling would apply the call-to-actions. I begin with a UI Kit and build examples of the anatomy of the smaller components.
One of the bigger challenges was to revisit the wireframes and layout for the iPad native app and build specifications for the development team.
First I create treatments/mood boards to help establish a look-n-feel. There were a few rounds of revisions for this project before we landed on a style and aesthetic for the games and admin tools. Based on the clients feedback these were two favorite directions chosen by the team:
This learning app was made up of a series of games that helped with your memory and study skills. These are jus some samples of iterations for the UI and visual design of key screens. Each game needed its own identity and color scheme. The goal was to be playful, colorful and bright.
A customer facing tool to help navigate through the desktop app, review account, and some of the social interactions.
