What is AE Design?

AE is short for Aesthetics Engineering - which refers to the consideration and integration of aesthetic factors in engineering, IT web and digital design.

It involves the deliberate effort to ensure that the designed products or systems, not only function effectively but also have an appealing and visually pleasing appearance.

Aesthetic engineering can relate to various engineering disciplines, such as product design, digital design, system design, and web design, where visual appeal and user experience are important considerations alongside functionality and structural integrity.

My work encompasses digital graphics, identity, marketing strategy and positioning, products and packaging, exhibitions and installations, websites and digital experiences, advertising and communications, data visualizations, product management and print design, templates & typefaces, or sound and motion. Our partners are all practicing designers, engineers, and product managers who can help drive your project’s success.

My Process

When solving problems, I partner with your team to focus on the needs of the users and customers.
Together we identify their challenges and obstacles and then develop hypotheses to address them. We prioritize these hypotheses and create a roadmap with milestones that deliver value to both customers and meet business goals.

Once these tools are in place… we then use behavior metrics, analyze marketing data, and user research to measure success and incremental improvements for growth and retention.
